Host a Halloween Movie Marathon

Pine Valley Apartments Blog, Elkton, MD Host a Halloween movie marathon in your apartment this month! We've got suggestions for food and movies!

Welcome back to the Pine Valley Apartments Blog originating in Elkton, MD! This month we are sharing ideas for hosting a Halloween-themed movie marathon at your apartment. Where to sit, how to see, what to eat, and what to watch is all covered in this post. So invite some friends over to your apartment for good eats and a movie or two.

You’ll be sitting for a long time. Provide plenty of comfy pillows and blankets for your guests to use while you’re watching movies. Make sure that you have plenty of space in your living room for your guests to stretch out during the movie. Once the movie is over, give your friends a ten or twenty-minute break to stretch their legs, go to the bathroom, and talk.

Glow sticks

Light up the night with a few glow sticks. Glow sticks are the perfect solution when you want to keep the lights low enough to watch the movie but bright enough that you don’t trip over the other guests on your way to the bathroom or the concession stand. A string or two of twinkle lights can also come in handy when you’re throwing a low-key movie night with friends.

Stock up on concessions

Chances are, your guests will want a variety of treats and snacks for movie night. Make your own concession bar with candy, popcorn, and chips. Offer fruits and veggies for a healthy movie night snack option. Just make sure that you have enough food for everyone to enjoy.
